Huntover Moves to World Class Facility

January 29, 2009 - With over fifteen years of unparalleled success in the hunter, jumper and equitation rings from coast to coast, Huntover, led by owner/trainer Mark Bone, is pleased to announce the relocation of its main show barn to Sandstone Horse Sales located in Hidden Valley, California. The move marks an unprecedented start to the 2009 show season for Huntover.

Widely recognized as an international caliber training facility, Sandstone has played host to numerous major events and was designated as the quarantine site for the 2000 U.S. Olympic Equestrian team. The 52-acre property is conveniently located in Northern Los Angeles County between Los Angeles and Santa Barbara.

“Sandstone is a magical place,” enthuses Mark Bone. “We are very fortunate to be able to train at such an outstanding facility that is second to none in the country.”

Sandstone is a perfect fit for the already thriving training and show program and promises huge benefits for horse and rider. Huntover enjoys access to many of the property’s finest amenities including a 3/8 mile training track, Grand Prix field, gymnastic ring, Olympic size dressage arena, large jumping arena, and breaking pen. Majestic trees, sprawling lawns and miles of trails are a rarity in Southern California and provide an ideal setting for riding and training.

“There is so much to do here,” says Bone. “Horses and riders have the option of being exposed to something new everyday which adds so much to our training program.”

Boarding at Sandstone also brings with it the opportunity to work alongside United States Equestrian Team rider Gabriella Salick of Gabriella Salick, LLC. A longtime friend and colleague of Mark Bone, Gaby teaches privately at Sandstone and attends numerous international competitions in both North America and Europe. After the birth of her daughter, she is looking forward to getting back in the ring and introducing young riders and amateur riders to the excitement of international competition.
